Eagles Head Coach Andy Reid

Q: First thing that jumps out when you look at your team are the turnovers. Has there been any persisting reason why you turn the ball over so much?
A: Well, the turnovers are obviously from fumbles and interceptions. Fumbles, more than interceptions. We just have to keep our leverage, and do a better job.

Q: What about the Giants offense impresses you the most in these first three games?
A: They're playing at a high level. The number of points they're putting on the board. I think Eli's playing very well, the offensive line is playing well, they've got a couple of runners that run hard and aggressive. The tight end is a nice, new addition. The receivers, you can't leave the receivers out. They're good football players.

Q: If it's always a challenge to protect Michael Vick in the pocket, is it more so this week? Because of what the Giants bring, as well as how may hits he's taken already this season? Does it feel even more important this week?
A: Well, it's always a great challenge when you play one of the best defensive lines in the National Football League, like the Giants have. You've got to make sure that you're playing your best football.

Q: Thoughts on Victor Cruz? He had that breakout game down in Philadelphia last year. Just your thoughts of him now that he's developed as a receiver in this league.
A: Listen, his numbers speak for themselves in production. He's developed into one of the better receivers in this league. He plays both inside and outside, and does well at both. He sure has a nice feel on the inside, as well as on the outside.

Q: Any level of concern that you're willing to share about the officiating, coach?
A: I think I'll stay away from that one.

Q: Are you worried at all about Michael Vick's durability with all of the hits that he's taking? It seems like he's been taking quite a beating, based on the numbers.
A: He's taken a lot of hits. Too many hits. So, we've got to make sure that we try to fix that.

Q: The other day you were asked about a starting quarterback change. You said, 'we'll evaluate that as we go.' I think you've clarified it since, but what's your general sense of Michael being your quarterback and a possible change?
A: That's not the way it meant to come out. Michael's our quarterback. Bad semantics on my part, I guess. Michael's our quarterback.

Q: Are there any injuries that concern you this week?
A: Did Eli get hurt?  Not really. We're ready to go.
