Today's edition of The Mailbag on Giants.com.

How will the tight end position be decided? I see that Bear Pascoe is getting first team snaps. But are the Giants rooting for Martellus Bennett to win it because of him speed? Or is it Pascoe's job as long as he keeps up his productivity?

The Giants are rooting for the best player to play. Honestly, I'm not certain there will be a designated No. 1 tight end. The Giants use so many different personnel groups. Who starts or who plays more in any particular game will be determined by what group and play is called first and the opponent. Pascoe and Bennett could play together in two-tight end packages or when Pascoe lines up at fullback. Both will get significant playing time. But I don't envision enough separation between them for one to be a clear cut No. 1.
