Today's edition of The Mailbag on Giants.com.
Several letters regarding the Giants' rushing attack reached The Mailbag this week. Here's a sampling.
It's clear to me that the experiment with Ahmad Bradshaw as an every down back is over. He's a warrior, and probably the toughest player in the league pound for pound, but he's not an every down back. When will Coach Coughlin recognize that, and put either Andre Brown or David Wilson in as the starter?
-Ray
Fifty-seven rushing yards vs. the Eagles -pretty pathetic. Andre Brown gets only five touches when he gained 113 yards vs. the Panthers. I love Bradshaw's toughness, but Brown is more explosive. He needs to get more touches. Your thoughts.

Dear Ray, Steve and all the fans who wrote in concerned about the ground game:
*Ideally, I would like to see Bradshaw, Brown and Wilson all involved running the ball in every game. Wilson, of course, hasn't received much of a chance since his opening-night fumble, but I believe he will as we get further into the season. Brown showed what he can do in the Tampa Bay and Carolina games and should get more touches. Regarding Bradshaw, I wouldn't give up on him yet. Yes, he has lost some of that speed and shiftiness he had earlier in his career. But he sets an example with his toughness and he is still capable of ripping off a 40-yarder. Most importantly, he is easily the best locker among the backs. If he doesn't play, Eli Manning will be exposed to many more big hits by blitzing linebackers and other pass rushers. And I think we can all agree that's not something the Giants want to risk. *
