ESPN's under-25 team rankings
ESPN recently released their annual under-25 team rankings.
As ESPN's Aaron Schatz wrote in the introduction, "All ages are as of Sept. 1, 2026. Blue-chip players are the top 60 cornerstone assets around the league from whom teams will likely derive their biggest future value."
Led by their group of blue chip players, the Giants landed at No. 9.
"The Giants' young talent is very top-heavy, with five recent first-round picks that I identified as blue chip players," wrote Schatz. "The youngest among them is [Arvell] Reese, who is 20. [Francis "Sisi"] Mauigoa is 21, and [Abdul] Carter is 22. [Jaxson] Dart and [Malik] Nabers are both 23.
"Below the first round of the draft, the Giants found running back Cam Skattebo, who is now 24. They also have cornerback Colton Hood (21) and nickelback Dru Phillips (24)."
Schatz went on to classify safety Tyler Nubin and outside linebacker Kayvon Thibodeaux as notable players that graduated from the under-25 tag.
As the ESPN analyst noted, the Giants' group of blue chip players consist of their five first-round picks over the last three drafts, including two first-round picks in each of the last two seasons.
The Giants were the only team from the NFC East to crack the top 10, with the next highest ranking within the division coming in at No. 18 (Philadelphia Eagles).
