Extra Effort Player of Game


Each week you, the fans, vote for the Giants "Extra Effort" Player of the Game Award. Voting is closed and the results for this week are in.

First, here's a look at the nominees and their performances during Sunday's 29-16 victory in Philadelphia:

QB Eli Manning: 16 of 23 passing, 254 yards, 4 TD, 0 INT.

WR Victor Cruz: 3 rec., 110 yards (36.7 AVG), 2 TD

CB Aaron Ross: 2 INT, 5 tackles

And the winner is…

Cruz with 76 percent of the votes, followed by Manning (14%) and Ross (10%).

"Thank you to all the fans that voted, and I appreciate all the love," Cruz said. "Hopefully I can remain consistent and keep doing it for you guys week in and week out."
