Fan Poll: Giants best offensive weapon

Today's topic on Big Blue Kickoff, hosted by John Schmeelk, was naming the best overall offensive weapon on the Giants' roster. Or, in other words, who will lead the Giants in yards from scrimmage this season?

Last season, Ahmad Bradshaw led the Giants in that department with 1,260 total yards – 1,015 on the ground and another 245 through the air. Now that he is no longer on the team, the door opens for the team's top receivers and rushers.

Historically, Tiki Barber owns six of the top 10 seasons in the 88 years of the franchise, including the top four and his record-setting 2005 season when he combined for 2,390 yards from scrimmage. Since his final year with New York in 2006, the honor went to a running back four times (Bradshaw twice, Derrick Ward, and Brandon Jacobs) and twice to wide receivers, most recently Victor Cruz in 2011.

Scrimmage Yards Leaders
2012 RB Ahmad Bradshaw – 1260 YDS (1015 RUSH, 245 REC)
2011 WR Victor Cruz – 1539 YDS (3 RUSH, 1536 REC)
2010 RB Ahmad Bradshaw – 1549 YDS (1235 RUSH, 314 REC)
2009 WR Steve Smith – 1220 YDS (0 RUSH, 1220 REC)
2008 RB Derrick Ward – 1409 YDS (1025 RUSH, 384 REC)
2007 RB Brandon Jacobs – 1183 YDS (1009 RUSH, 174 REC)
