Giants announce Marvel Super Hero™ Day among 2023 gameday themes

GIVEAWAY-GRAPHIC

The New York Giants announced a special lineup of gameday themes for the 2023 home schedule, including the return of Marvel Super Hero™ Day, presented by the Invisalign brand, and two "Legacy Games," presented by Quest®. The Giants will also continue to support various NFL initiatives throughout games this season.

Marvel Super Hero™ Day will take place on October 29 vs. the New York Jets, when the first 25,000 fans who enter MetLife Stadium plaza gates will receive an exclusive collectible poster courtesy of the Invisalign brand, featuring a Marvel-inspired Eli Manning. Marvel created a custom Super Hero based on the two-time Super Bowl champion, which will come to life during a special episode of "The Eli Manning Show" that will air prior to the game. Additionally, the first 1,000 fans to enter the Marvel activation on the MetLife Plaza will receive an exclusive Giants x Marvel co-branded collectible coin.

The Marvel Super Hero experience will begin from the moment fans enter the building, including Marvel-themed integrations throughout the plazas and inside the MetLife gate, where fans can meet their favorite characters. Video platforms throughout the bowl and concourses will showcase Marvel-themed videos, player headshot graphics, animations, and interactive trivia/features.

The Giants will once again bring back their classic blue uniforms from the '80s and '90s for two "Legacy Games" during the 2023 season. The team will wear these uniforms at MetLife Stadium on Sunday, October 22 vs. Washington and December 11 vs. Green Bay on "Monday Night Football". The Legacy Games will also showcase retrofitted stadium branding with throwback endzone designs, complemented by wall wraps around the field to match the aesthetics from the time. Fans can also expect plaza activations and old-school pennants for the first 25,000 in attendance for each game.

"We received an overwhelming positive response to our Legacy Games and Marvel collaboration from fans, and we listened. As part of our ongoing commitment to enhance the gameday experience, we are proud to announce our 2023 gameday theme schedule" said Nilay Shah, Giants SVP of Marketing & Brand Strategy.

The Giants will kick off their 2023 season at home with a 'Blue Out' on "Sunday Night Football" against the Dallas Cowboys on September 10 by highlighting the teams 2023 brand campaign, "BE GIANT." All fans in attendance will receive a "BE GIANT" rally towel, presented by PNC Private Bank. Fans are encouraged to wear blue for the Giants home opener, and the first 25,000 fans in attendance will receive a "BE GIANT" t-shirt, courtesy of Pepsi.

Back at MetLife Stadium for another prime-time game, the Giants will host the Seattle Seahawks on October 2 for Monday Night Football. All fans in attendance will receive a Giants rally towel, presented by Visa.

In Week 12 against the New England Patriots, the Giants will honor Salute to Service, a year-round effort to Honor, Empower and Connect our nation's service members, veterans, and their families. It is grounded in deep partnership with nonprofits and organizations that support the military community in the United States and across the world. The first 25,000 fans in attendance will receive a special Salute to Service designed scarf, presented by Ford.

The Giants are proud to continue their support for the following NFL initiatives throughout the season through local outreach events and sustained community partnerships:

Crucial Catch: The NFL's Crucial Catch mission is to fight cancer through early detection and risk reduction.
