2018 Bracket Challenge: Antonio Pierce vs. Fred Robbins
LB Antonio Pierce
Years with NYG: 2005-09
One of the smartest players ever to wear a Giants uniform, Pierce is part of the franchise's rich tradition at linebacker. He led a top-10 defense in 2007 and a top-five unit in 2008. In their 2007 title run, his defense never allowed more than 20 points in four postseason games, including limiting the record-setting Patriots offense to just 14 points in Super Bowl XLII.
DT Fred Robbins
Years with NYG: 2004-09
With names like Michael Strahan, Osi Umenyiora and Justin Tuck on the outside, Robbins fortified the middle of a loaded defensive line for the Giants. He played in 99 games for Big Blue, including six postseason contests and Super Bowl XLII. He recorded 25 sacks as a member of the Giants, the 13th-most in franchise history.
