Burress, a former Steeler, had two 1,000-yard seasons and caught 33 touchdowns in 57 games as a Giant. He is best remembered for catching the go-ahead touchdown with 35 seconds remaining in the Giants' Super Bowl XLII victory over the previously undefeated Patriots. In the NFC Championship Game leading up, Burress set a franchise postseason record with 11 catches.

Harrison, Jenkins and Vernon were part of a major free-agent haul in 2016, propelling the Giants to the No. 2 scoring defense in their first season together as well as the team's first postseason berth since 2011. Harrison earned first-team All-Pro honors while Jenkins picked up a Pro Bowl nod.
