Giants fan wins Super Bowl tickets as part of Fantennial Weekend Sweepstakes

Sunday's home opener was the first chance for the 2019 Giants to play in front of their home crowd. For one lucky fan, it was the moment of a lifetime.

Brendan Egan has been a Giants fan his whole life, and on Sunday, he was the winner of the Giants Fantennial Weekend Sweepstakes.

"It was absolutely amazing," Brendan told Giants.com about his experience at Sunday's home opener. "I've had a lot of health issues over the last year. I had a bad heat stroke back in July of last year. Then I was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis on top of that. Then I had a heart attack. I didn't have a whole lot of good news this last year. Going to the game, let's just say that was the highlight of my year."

As part of the promotion, Brendan received two Mezzanine Club tickets to Sunday's home opener, along with a VIP Parking Pass, two pregame field passes and a $100 stadium gift card to MetLife Stadium.

In addition to the prizes awarded for Sunday's game, Brendan was surprised with two tickets to Super Bowl LIV in Miami.

"I was in absolute shock," Brendan said. "I couldn't even think straight. I had to kind of hold onto my wife. I still can't even imagine it. It's beyond the coolest thing that's ever happened to me."

While the big game is more than four months away, Brendan already knows who will be accompanying him to Miami.

"I believe it's going to be my wife," Brendan said. "I kind of need my wife. She's been my rock through all of this. I can't imagine not bringing her with me."

Sunday's game against the Bills did not go as planned for Big Blue, as the loss dropped the Giants to 0-2 on the season. Despite the team still looking for its first win of the year, Brendan is very optimistic on Big Blue's outlook moving forward.

"I've been a lifelong Giants fan, so no matter what happens, I always think they're going to win," Brendan said. "Nobody thought they were going to beat the Patriots (in Super Bowl XLII) and, lo and behold, they beat the Patriots. I never say never, and I don't give up on them."
