EAST RUTHERFORD, NJ**

  • Giants Stadium LLC announced today that it has sold all personal seat licenses (PSLs) for non-club seats in the Giants' new stadium in the Meadowlands. The only PSLs remaining for purchase are a limited number of seats in the three club areas – Coach's Club, Mezzanine Club A and Mezzanine Club B.

Over 70,000 PSLs have been sold, including all non-club PSL seats. This offering to season ticket holders and wait-list members was first available for purchase in late July and sold out in less than eight months. Construction on the new stadium remains several months ahead of schedule. The Giants will begin play in their new home in 2010, meaning the new building is virtually sold out 18 months prior to the first game, an unprecedented success in the sale of PSLs.

The limited number of club seats still for sale will be made available to the approximately 93,000 fans remaining on the Giants' season ticket waiting list. Those wait-list members will be contacted in groups of 10,000 fans until all remaining PSLs are sold.

Fans who purchased PSLs were initially told they would receive their seat assignments in the spring of 2010, approximately a year from now. Because construction continues at a rapid pace and the PSLs have been sold, Giants Stadium LLC now hopes to inform fans of their exact seat locations this fall.

"The individuals who purchased these seat licenses are our current season tickets holders and those who have been on the wait-list for many, many years," said John Mara, the Giants President and Chief Executive Officer. "Approximately 90 percent of our current season ticket accounts have purchased tickets in the new building, which again demonstrates that Giants fans are the most loyal in professional sports. We thank them for their support."

"The PSL sales team was able to work with our season ticket holders and those on the wait-list on virtually a one-to-one basis," said Steve Tisch, the Giants Chairman and Executive Vice President. "That gave our fans a good understanding of the new stadium and what options were best for them in our new building. Our team worked with them, addressed any issues and tried to accommodate them even in these challenging economic times, and we are grateful for their loyalty."

All fans who have applied for PSLs have submitted their applications and have made a minimum payment of 20 percent of the total cost of their PSLs. Invoices will be mailed at the end of June and a payment of 40 percent will be due on August 1, 2009. The final 40 percent will be due on March 1, 2010.

"We are pleased by the strong response from current Giants season ticket holders," said Kevin Frattura, Vice President of Sales for Giants Stadium LLC. "We have said from the beginning of this process that the Giants wanted them to move into the new building. With the great sightlines and the tremendous carryover of the core fans from Giants Stadium, the game will remain the number one attraction."
