Giants Players Hit the Airwaves

Eli Manning joined The Michael Kay Show on ESPN 1050 on Monday and was asked if the team can take anything away from bringing the undefeated Packers to the brink.

"I think so. I think we have. I think the spirit in the locker room today was good. Obviously you're still disappointed about not getting the win. We thought we were very close and had a few opportunities and a few things we could have definitely cleaned up. But just the way we competed, the way we kept fighting, kept responding to everything they threw at us and overcame it and just fell a little short. I think the mindset is, hey, we can play at a high level, we can do a lot of really good things and that's what we expect from ourselves these next four weeks."

Co-host Don LaGreca brought up Manning's success in Dallas.

"We've had some good games there. So I think anytime you get to play in good weather, in a dome, on turf, it's always pretty good conditions to throw the football. Obviously they are a talented team. They have a new defensive coordinator doing some different things this year. So we have to get prepared, but we've played well in the past. Hopefully we can continue to do that."

In his weekly report, Justin Tuck called into WFAN’s Mike Francesa and talked about throwing Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers off his game in the early going.

"He didn't give any visible signs, but I think he missed some throws that I think he would normally hit. He made some throws in the game, regardless. He made some great throws, but I think we had him off his game a little bit, showed him some different coverages. I think we did a good job of executing early in the game."

Tuck spoke about heading into this week's game against the Cowboys with the division on the line.

"Honestly, I wouldn't want it any other way. It's one of those things where you know what's at stake, you know what you have to do, and you've got to man up and do it. You can't make any excuses about it. What other place to start off hopefully a four-game run than in Dallas' stadium?" Join other diehard Giants Fans!
