Giants react to Chris Snee retirement

To get an idea of what Chris Snee meant to the Giants organization, you only have to look as far as the players he competed with side-by-side.
Following his retirement announcement, some of Snee's teammates took to social media and said thank you to one of the franchise's cornerstones for the past decade.

Safety Antrel Rolle:

"This one hurts...... U always have guys that come to fight with you on the gridiron but very rarely do u find a guy who FIGHTS 100% of the time no matter how he feels. This guy gave the team his all. I begged him to come back and give me one more year. He tried but I guess it's time for him to leave the game. I can respect that. FIRST CLASS GUY ALL THE WAY AROUND. #offandonswitch #mybrother #nygfamilyforlife"**
Former Giants defensive co-captain and current Oakland Raider Justin Tuck:

**

"More than a teammate but a BROTHER.. And I don't used that word lightly. Chris Snee the definition of a warrior. Truly admire how you did it. Congrats on a great career and wish you nothing but the best in whatever is next. God Bless Brother!! #truegiant"

Punter Steve Weatherford:

"The toughest teammate I've ever had. He gave 110% every play, every game, every season for 10 years as a New York Giant. THANK YOU Chris Snee."

DE Mathias Kiwanuka

"No player has had as big an impact on a team, while receiving as little credit. Chris Snee, It's been an honor to share the field you. Congratulations on a great career. #bc #giants"

LB Mark Herzlich

"Going to miss playing with this amazing Giant who loves his teammates, his family, his football and obviously Loves his Eli. We are all better players and men because of you Chris! THANK YOU"

President John Mara
