*Postgame stats and notes from the Giants' Week 15 matchup vs. the Eagles: *
EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. –Notes and statistics from the Giants' 34-29 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles in MetLife Stadium:
*The Giants lost their fourth consecutive game and fell to 2-12. The 12 defeats ties the franchise season record, set in 1966 (1-12-1), 1974 (2-12), 1980 (4-12), 1983 (3-12-1), and 2003 (4-12).
*The Giants also dropped to 0-10 in NFC games and 0-5 in NFC East games.

*The Giants' 29 points was their highest total since a 35-30 loss to the Eagles on Jan. 3, 2016. The teams' 63 combined points were the most in a Giants games since that loss to Philadelphia on the final day of the 2015 season.
*The Giants held an early 20-7 lead. This was the first time they lost a game in which they led by at least 13 points since Nov. 30, 2014 when they led in Jacksonville by 21 points, but fell to the Jaguars, 25-24.
*The Giants led at halftime, 23-21. The 44 combined points were the most in a Giants game since Nov. 1, 2015, when the New Orleans Saints (28) and Giants (21) combined for 49 points.
*The 23 points made it the Giants' highest-scoring first half since Dec. 7, 2014 at Tennessee, where they led, 23-0, on their way to a 36-7 victory.
*This was the second time this season the Giants lost after holding a halftime lead. On Oct. 22, they led Seattle, 7-3, but lost, 24-7.
*The Giants did not have a takeaway for the second week in a row and the fifth time this season. They are 0-5 in those games.
*The Giants gained 504 yards, their highest total since they finished with 525 yards in a victory against San Francisco on Oct. 11, 2015.
*The Giants' 429 net passing yards was their highest total since they threw for 441 yards in that game against the 49ers two seasons ago.
*The Giants' 27 first downs was their highest total since they had 28 against Washington on Sept. 25, 2016.
*For the first time this season, the Giants scored a first-possession touchdown when Orleans Darkwa powered his way into the end zone from a yard out 5:56 into the game. The touchdown capped a 13-play, 75-yard drive. The Giants had last scored a touchdown on their opening possession a year ago – Dec. 18, 2016 vs. Detroit – on Eli Manning's six-yard pass to Sterling Shepard (who caught four passes for 32 yards on Sunday's game-opening drive).
*The Eagles countered with a seven-play, 75-yard drive that ended with Nick Foles' three-yard touchdown pass to Alshon Jeffery. The score concluded a seven-play 75-yard drive in which Philadelphia's longest gain of 32 yards came on Darian Thompson's pass interference penalty. The Eagles scored two plays later.
It was the second time in three games and the third time this season the Giants surrendered a touchdown on the opposition's first possession. Two weeks ago in Oakland, Marshawn Lynch scored on a 51 yard run. On Nov. 5, the Rams got on the board quickly on Jared Goff's eight-yard touchdown pass to Tyler Higbee.
*This was the first Giants game in which each team scored touchdowns on their initial offensive series since Nov. 20, 2016, when the Chicago Bears opened the scoring on Jay Cutler's one-yard touchdown pass to Zach Miller, and the Giants answered with Rashad Jennings' two-yard run.
*The Giants also scored a touchdown on their second possession when Manning threw a 13-yard touchdown pass to Tavarres King. This was the first game in which the Giants scored touchdowns on their first two offensive series since Nov. 23, 2014 against Dallas when Manning threw scoring passes of three and 43 yards to Odell Beckham, Jr. The second of those touchdowns was Beckham's famous one-handed catch.
*We're not finished. On the Giants' next series, they increased their lead to 20-7 when Shepard caught a short Manning pass and turned it into a 67-yard touchdown. The Giants had last scored touchdowns on their first three offensive possessions in the aforementioned 2014 game against the Cowboys when, after Beckham's two touchdown receptions, fellow rookie Andre Williams scored on a three-yard run.
*The 67-yard touchdown was the Giants' second-longest play of the season. The longest was another short Manning pass that Shepard turned into a long touchdown vs. the Eagles – a 77-yarder in Philadelphia on Sept. 24.
*After Darkwa scored the Giants' first touchdown, Aldrick Rosas' extra point attempt was blocked. It was the first time a Giants extra point attempt was blocked since Sept. 10, 2001 at Denver, when the kicker was Pro Football Hall of Famer Morten Andersen, and the blocker was defensive tackle Leon Lett.
*The Giants also failed on a two-point conversion attempt for the second time this season when Manning was sacked following the touchdown that pulled the Giants to within 31-29. On Oct. 8 against the Chargers, Manning threw an incomplete pass to Odell Beckham, Jr. on a two-point try.
*Manning completed 37 of 57 passes for 434 yards, three touchdowns and one interception (the game's only turnover).
*The 57 passes were the second-highest total of his career; he had 63 attempts at Philadelphia on Dec. 22, 2016.
*The 37 completions were the third-highest total of Manning's career; he completed 41 passes vs. San Francisco on Oct. 11, 2015 and 38 at Philadelphia last season.
*The 434 yards were the fourth-highest total of his career; Manning threw for 510 yards vs. Tampa Bay on Sept. 16, 2002; 450 at Dallas on Sept. 8, 2013; and 441 vs. San Francisco on Oct. 11, 2015.
*This was the second time this season Manning threw for more than 300 yards in a game. The first time was also against Philadelphia, on Sept. 24, when Manning passed for 366 yards.
*Manning has thrown for at least 300 yards in 45 regular-season games. The Giants are 19-26 in those games. This was Manning's ninth career 400-yard game. The Giants are 4-5 in those games.
*Manning's 434 yards raised his season total to 3,973 yards. It is the 13th consecutive season he has thrown for at least 3,000 yards, tying him with his older brother, Peyton, for the third-longest streak in history. Hall of Famer Brett Favre threw for at least 3,000 yards in 18 consecutive seasons, and New Orleans' Drew Brees has an active streak of 14 straight years.
*Manning's 252 passing yards in the first two quarters were his most ever in the first half of a game. He has thrown for more yardage than that in the second half several times.
*Manning has now thrown 51 touchdown passes vs. the Eagles, his highest total against a single opponent. He has thrown for 49 scores against Dallas.
*Shepard tied his career-high with 11 receptions, for 139 yards and the second-quarter touchdown. He caught 11 passes for 142 yards at San Francisco on Nov. 12. Shepard has all three of the Giants' 100-yard receiving games this season, including 133 yards at Philadelphia on Sept. 24. It was his fourth career 100-yard game; the Giants are 1-3 in those games.
*King caught just two passes, but he made the most of them, scoring touchdowns of 13 yards in the first quarter and 57 yards in the third. The 57-yarder was the Giants' third-longest play of the season. King left the game with a concussion he suffered on his second score.
*Rookie tight end Evan Engram had a season-high eight receptions, for 87 yards. His previous high total was seven catches, set two weeks ago at Oakland. Engram also gained 14 yards on the first rushing attempt of his career.
*Another rookie, Wayne Gallman, led the Giants with 39 rushing yards on eight carries, and caught six passes for 40 yards.
*Shane Vereen had five rushing attempts for 15 yards and five receptions for 15 yards. Vereen's 17-yard run in the second quarter was his longest since he had a 25-yarder vs. Washington on Sept. 25, 2016. Vereen lost nine yards on another carry, hence the lower total than his longest run.
*Safety Landon Collins, who was listed as doubtful with an ankle injury on Friday's injury report, started but couldn't stay on the field and was downgraded to out in the second quarter. Andrew Adams, who started 13 games as a rookie in 2013, replaced Collins.
*Cornerback Eli Apple returned to the field after missing the previous four games and led the team with seven solo stops among his nine tackles (which tied Darian Thompson for the team high).
*Safety Ryan Murphy, who was signed off the Giants' practice squad on Friday, made his NFL debut on defense and special teams.
*Olivier Vernon had the Giants' only sack, a four-yard takedown of Nick Foles.
*Foles joined the Rams' Jared Goff as quarterbacks who have thrown four touchdown passes against the Giants this season.
*The Giants' inactive players were running back Paul Perkins, wide receivers Travis Rudolph and Hunter Sharp, safety Nat Berhe, linebacker Jeremy Cash, offensive lineman Damien Mama, and quarterback Davis Webb.
Berhe, who is sidelined with a hamstring injury, had played in each of the season's first 13 games.
