OFFENSE: Eli Manning vs. Aaron Rodgers
Sunday will be another marquee matchup of Super Bowl MVPs. After facing Drew Brees and the Saints, Manning duels with Rodgers, whose play this season can't be understated. Despite the Packers' unblemished record, Manning and crew are going up against a unit that is ranked 31st against the pass, giving up 287.8 yards per game. Manning is fourth in the NFL with 3,358 yards and 20 touchdowns, but his 95.5 passer rating is 32 points below Rodgers' 127.7.
DEFENSE: Jason Pierre-Paul vs. Clay Matthews
In his second year, defensive end Jason Pierre-Paul is fifth in the NFL in sacks with 10.5. However, on a unit that couldn't get to Drew Brees on Monday night, Pierre-Paul has one sack in his last three games. Meanwhile, Clay Matthews leads a linebacker corps that has 14.5 out of the team's 25 sacks (he is tied for the team lead with five).
SPECIAL TEAMS: Da'Rel Scott vs. Randall Cobb
Both rookies were drafted by their respective teams for their speed. Wide receiver Randall Cobb made an immediate impact as a return specialist while Da'Rel Scott assumed the role of kickoff returner three weeks ago. Cobb returned a kick in the season opener 108 yards for a touchdown and is averaging a fifth-best 27.8 yards a return. Scott is averaging 25.4 yards on nine returns with a long of 38.
