The New York Giants defeated the St. Louis Rams 37-27 in a spirited game on the road for their third straight victory heading into the season finale.

WHAT'S NEXT

Big Blue wraps up its 2014 season by hosting the Philadelphia Eagles (9-6) at MetLife Stadium for a 1 p.m. ET kickoff.

WHAT WE LEARNED ABOUT THE OFFENSE

Against a Rams defense that hadn't allowed a touchdown in three games and pitched back-to-back shutouts in Weeks 13 and 14, the Giants put up 20 points in the first half and 37 overall, 10 of which came off two turnovers (an interception by the Giants' defense and a fumble recovery on a kickoff).

Manning completed 25 of 32 passes for 391 yards and three touchdowns, the first a nine-yard strike to wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr., who on Sunday surpassed 1,000 yards on the season and now has the franchise records for most receptions, receiving yards, and touchdown catches by a rookie. The Giants didn't have much going on the ground until a 45-yard run by rookie Andre Williams, who again started in place of injured Rashad Jennings (ankle). That play set up a seven-yard touchdown catch from Rueben Randle, who had a season-high 132 yards and a touchdown on six catches.

WHAT WE LEARNED ABOUT THE DEFENSE

While the Giants' offense rolled to 514 yards, their defense buckled down in key situations, holding the Rams to 1-for-6 on third-down conversion attempts.

Defensive ends Jason Pierre-Paul and Kerry Wynn each had a sack, increasing the Giants' four-week sack total to 24. Wynn also had a fumble recovery and an interception off a tipped pass intended for Rams wide receiver Tavon Austin.

WHAT WE LEARNED ABOUT THE SPECIAL TEAMS

The Giants' first touchdown drive was set up by a special teams play when Orleans Darkwa forced Benjamin Cunningham to fumble on a kickoff return, and Nat Berhe was there to recover the ball deep in Rams territory.  Berhe later made another impact play on special teams, tackling Cunningham again on a kickoff return at the St. Louis 10-yard line.

Meanwhile, Josh Brown made three field goals, including a long of 52 yards, but had one blocked later in the fourth quarter.

INACTIVES Giants:

LINEUP CHANGES Giants:

INJURY REPORT
