Jason Pierre-Paul on stopping QB Rodgers

Q: What do you need to do to beat the Packers this weekend?

A: We have to play great football. We have to stop the run game first, the pass game and be physical. That is basically it.Q: You have had a lot of game changing plays this season, do you have a favorite?

A: I would say blocking the field goal in Dallas

Q: Why is that one your favorite?

A: Basically, we needed the win and it came down to the last second. The kicker came out there to tie the game and I blocked it. We went on to win that game and it made a big difference for the whole season and that is basically it.

Q: What do you have to do to defend against Aaron Rodgers?

A: Basically we have to contain him in the pocket and not let him get out and scramble on us. We have to be physical upfront. It starts upfront and that is basically what we have to do. We can't go out there and think all runs, we have to contain the pocket. All that is going to come, we can't rush it.

Q: What is different when everyone is playing on the defensive line?

A: First of all, everybody is healthy and the rotation is good and that is less stress for all of us. We are fresh when we go in there so we can rush the passer and play the run. If any of us gets tired, we can go out there and get a spell because we have each other's back.

Q: What is your reaction to your guarantee and do you still believe that today?

A: I think we are going to go out there and win. If the special teams, defense and offense plays the way we played last Sunday, we should come out with a victory.

Q: How much do you enjoy going up against an offense this good?

A: With an offense that good, it is frustrating because they are so good but at the same time we have to go out there and play great football and give us a chance to show what we are about. Our secondary and our front, we just have to go out there and play great football, no matter what happens.

Q: How would you compare yourself today compared to week one?

A: I feel like I got better as a football player, especially against the run. As a pass rusher, Tuck and Osi and those guys helped me on that end. My coaches help me too and I am just getting better. I have a lot to learn still but as time goes on, I am still learning and the game is still fast to me, so I am still learning.
