Giants News | New York Giants –

Key matchup on Sunday

The Giants have faced the Redskins 160 times in the regular season since their first game in 1932, making this their most frequently-contested rivalry.

In 2012, the teams split their season series for the first time since 2007, with each team winning at home. The Giants won on Oct. 21 in MetLife Stadium, 27-23, when Eli Manning threw a 77-yard touchdown pass to Victor Cruz with 1:13 remaining in the game. But they lost the rematch, 17-16, on Monday night, Dec. 3, in FedEx Field.

The Giants are 8-7-1 in FedEx Field, where they will travel to this weekend to face the 3-8 Redskins. That leads us to our Morning Debate:

What is the key matchup against Washington?
