Guys up front getting pressure. Guys in the back covering. That's playing defense.  

That's playing *championship *defense.

In their third matchup with the Packers in the last 11 months, the New York Giants found their groove again on Sunday night. But Mathias Kiwanuka knows it's just one game.  

"I think, for us, it's a start," he said. "The message has to be continued on. It can't just be a fluke. So, for us, it's we came back after the bye, we put it together, we had a good week of practice and everybody was clicking. We've got to make sure we build on that, and I think that'll be a better message than just one game."

The Giants have now won the last two of three meetings dating back to Week 13 of 2011, outscoring the Packers 110-68 along the way. Kiwanuka had two of the Giants' five sacks in the latest installment, a 38-10 rout Sunday night at MetLife Stadium, while quarterback Aaron Rodgers completed just 14 passes with one touchdown and an interception.

"They're definitely an explosive offense," said Kiwanuka, who tied for second on the team with six tackles. "Up front, they do a good job, but their quarterback play is tremendous. Their receivers, their tight ends, all the tight ends that they use are good. So we know going into weeks like this we have to be prepared, we have to be on top of our game. But I think it's fun when everybody's clicking and everybody is playing together and everybody knows what we have at stake."

It was a familiar feeling and one that Kiwanuka hopes is here to stay.

With a 36-7 win over Carolina and a 26-3 victory against San Francisco – both on the road – under their belt this season, Kiwanuka might not have felt this good about a game since the Super Bowl run.

"We've had good games," Kiwanuka said. "We've had good quarters, halves, whatnot, but I think as a complete game, it's probably the best this year."
