Locker room quick hits

Aaron Ross spoke about the challenge of facing Cardinals wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald:

"There are a lot of good receivers in the league right now, so each and every week you are going up against a top ten receiver or top ten quarterback. Being a corner in this league you have to be prepared each week…He is a big play receiver. He is physical and can get off the ball and get off the jam. You may think you have blanket coverage on him and the quarterback will throw the ball to him and he will go up there and get it. The play is never over with him."Corey Webster also spoke to that:

"I think every receiver wants to be the best. Larry Fitzgerald does a great job but we can only control what we can control and that is getting better every week and doing the little things right. Hopefully we put ourselves in position to make those plays and not give up those big plays to any receiver that is known for making big plays like a Larry Fitzgerald or a DeSean Jackson. All we can control is getting out and doing what the coaches ask us to do and being in a good position when the ball is in the air and hopefully we can make a play on it."Antrel Rolle talked about what he's seen of Kevin Kolb:

"He is a good quarterback. He is very agile and very mobile. He can make every throw and those are the quarterbacks that you have to keep an eye on. He has a great corps of receivers with young talent and a lot of talent around him. He is making it work for him."Jason Pierre-Paul was asked how much he has improved from his rookie season:

"I think I am a lot better because I think I know what is going to be thrown at me. I know the play calling and I see the field more. The more snaps you get, the better you can be."Eli Manning commented on what the confidence level is in the locker room:

"I think your confidence is always high. It doesn't matter how you played last week. We have great confidence in our team. We know we have playmakers. It's just about going out there and executing. This week we have to have the same focus and determination that we had last week, have a great week of practice, and go out there and perform on Sunday."Manning was asked what it will take to get the win in Arizona:

"Both sides of the ball have to be very sound. We've been playing smart football, not making too many mistakes. We have to be aggressive. We have to hit some big plays and be smart with the football. Hopefully our defense can continue to play well also."
