Mario Manningham and Osi Umenyiora will both practice today when the Giants begin preparations of their road game Sunday against the Arizona Cardinals.

Manningham did not travel to Philadelphia for the Giants' 29-16 victory over the Eagles because of a concussion suffered on Sept. 19 vs. St. Louis. He has been cleared to return to practice on a limited basis.

Umenyiora has not played nor practiced with the team during the Giants' 2-1 start. The two-time Pro Bowler had arthroscopic knee surgery on Aug. 19 and has since rehabbed and performed individual drills.

"There will be (limitations), but he's out there," Coach Tom Coughlin said of Umenyiora's return. "I don't think he thinks there's any kind of limitation, I really don't.

"I would like to have Osi get some practice time. I think he definitely needs to spend some time on the field with his teammates to put himself back in those (game) situations. Then, if we're perhaps fortunate enough to not have any problems, we can make adjustments (to his practice schedule)."

Also appearing on the Giants' preliminary injury report are defensive end Justin Tuck (groin/neck) and cornerback Prince Amukamara (foot).

Tuck won't practice today.

"He's made good progress both days, so we're encouraged by that part," Coughlin said.

Amukamara, the first-round draft choice who broke his foot on Aug. 6 is "a ways away," according to Coughlin.
