Every year, the Pro Football Hall of Fame welcomes in some of the league's greatest players, coaches and figures from the sport's history as members of its newest class.

Ford Motor Company and the PFHOF started a new tradition a few years ago, one that pays tribute the group of people that help make football the greatest sport: the fans.

The Ford Hall of Fans was created to recognize Pro Football's biggest fans by honoring them with their rightful place in the Pro Football Hall of Fame, next to all of the great legends that they support.

Hall of Fame defensive end and Giants legend Michael Strahan assisted in breaking the news to Giants super fan Amy Nolan that she had been nominated for the 2022 Class of the Ford Hall of Fans in a surprise visit to the FOX NFL set in Los Angeles.

"I could not believe it when he walked out," Amy said about meeting Strahan, her all-time favorite Giant. "And then for him to say that I've been nominated, it was just one of the best days of my life…"

"I love Michael Strahan. He's such a good guy and he's funny. I love watching him on FOX NFL Sunday. The Giants play on FOX a lot, so we get to see a lot of him which is great. I'm a big Michael Strahan fan."

Amy needs the support of Giants fans to get into the Ford Hall of Fans though, so head over to www.FordHallOfFans.com and vote for Amy now!

Amy is from Eatontown, New Jersey, just a Hail Mary pass away from The Meadowlands. Throughout her childhood, her entire family rooted for the Giants, but none more so than her father. Amy and her dad connected through sports, as his love and support for Big Blue drew Amy into the Giants fandom.

"My dad and I really bonded over sports in general, but football is a sport that we love," Amy said about her father's influence on her becoming a Giants fan. "We didn't really have the opportunity to go see a game growing up. But we knew from basically as soon as we understood what football was that we were Giants fans. That was just something that was embedded in us from a very young age…

"We did get to watch a couple of games on TV together, I remember that before my dad passed away. It was just a really meaningful experience and something I definitely carry with me."

Amy's father passed away from cancer in 2006, and while the two were unable to attend a game together, Amy has been carrying the torch for their beloved team ever since. She is a season ticket holder who always plans her weekend around Giants football, she hosted a mega tailgate for her 40th birthday, and she even has a Giants tattoo. But most of all, Amy gives back, raising money for the American Cancer Society and participating in the Relay For Life walk in memory of her dad.

"Getting into the Hall of Fame was by far the highlight of my NFL career," Strahan said. "When I nominated Amy for the Ford Hall of Fans, I could see that she was every bit as blown away as I was."

Strahan was not wrong. Amy has bled blue her entire life, and to represent the Giants and Big Blue nation in the Ford Hall of Fans would be a tremendous honor.

"Being inducted into the Ford Hall of Fans would just be amazing," Amy told Giants.com. "I've been a huge fan for so long. Growing up as a Giants fan, and later on being able to start going to games and really get into the team, get to know the players, and really understand the game of football so much more through them. This year for the first time, I never thought it would be possible for me, but I was actually able to get season tickets. Now to be able to go to all of the home games and be there and just be a part of the Giants family, and to represent the Giants and Giants nation, Big Blue and all the fans and to be inducted, it would just be a huge honor."
