The Giants have been busy since free agency began. Big Blue signed veteran wide receiver Brandon Marshall, who was recently released by the Jets. The Giants followed up by inking tight end Rhett Ellison (from Minnesota) and offensive lineman D.J. Fluker (from San Diego). Big Blue also re-signed running back Orleans Darkwa, offensive lineman John Jerry and quarterback Josh Johnson. On Friday, the Giants signed defensive end Jason Pierre-Paul to a new contract. A free agent, JPP had received the franchise designation last month.

"It means a lot to me, because I started here, and obviously I want to finish here," Pierre-Paul said. "I've seen a lot of guys come and go, especially in my (draft) class. I'm the only one left in my class here. It means a lot. We won a Super Bowl here, and I'm looking forward to putting a fifth trophy in the case."

"I'm definitely looking forward to a new start," Fluker said after signing his contract. "Hopefully, I can make a big impact on the offensive line. I think the Giants give me the best opportunity to be successful."

There's still many notable free agents on the open market. In the coming weeks, more players will find new places to call home, while others will end up staying put.
