NFL.com's 'stock up' prospects from Combine

2026-COMBINE-ELEVATE

The calendar has officially flipped to March and the 2026 NFL Scouting Combine is now in the rearview mirror.

There were some historic performances in Indianapolis this year as several prospects set new combine records at their respective positions.

With the combine complete, we are now just over seven weeks away from the start of the 2026 NFL Draft. A lot can, and likely will, happen over those seven weeks that could shake things up in Pittsburgh for the draft.

NFL.com's Chad Reuter broke down which prospects boosted their draft stock on the field this past week in Indianapolis.

Let's get right into it.

Offense

Taylen Green, QB, Arkansas - "The athleticism Green used to befuddle defenses during his college career was on full display during Saturday's workout. The 6-5 7/8, 227-pounder made history with a 43 1/2-inch vertical jump and 11-2 broad jump, both of which were the best marks by a combine quarterback since at least 2003. Then he used his long strides to run a 4.36-second 40, the second-fastest time by a combine QB since at least 2003."

Mike Washington Jr., RB, Arkansas - "It was easy to see why Washington was able to rank in the top 10 nationally with 6.4 yards per carry when he ran a stunning 4.33-second 40 at 6-1, 223 pounds, the fastest time for any running back at this year's combine. His 39-inch vertical and 10-8 broad jump were exceptional for his body type, as well."

Skyler Bell, WR, Connecticut - "Bell posted a 41-inch vertical and 11-foot-1 broad jump before running a 4.4-second 40-yard dash, showing the all-around athleticism needed to be considered a top-100 prospect."

Zachariah Branch, WR, Georgia - "Branch (5-8 5/8, 177) might not meet some teams' minimum size requirements for the position, but he was the best receiver on the field when the first group of pass catchers worked out on Saturday. He ran crisp routes and caught everything thrown his way, whether it was within or outside his frame... His 4.35 40 time met expectations, as did his 38-inch vertical."

Bryce Lance, WR, North Dakota State - "His 41 1/2-inch vertical and 11-1 broad jump will grab scouts' attention, and then he showed it was no fluke he could run past FCS defenders with a 4.34-second 40."

Ja'Kobi Lane, WR, USC - "He used his 80 3/4-inch wingspan and 10 1/2-inch hands to make two sensational leaping catches. The former Trojan ran a solid 4.47-second 40 and jumped 40 inches in the vertical, as well."

Zavion Thomas, WR, LSU - "Mississippi State WR Brenen Thompson ran slightly faster than Thomas (4.26 to 4.28) but the former LSU star was more impressive to me, given he carries 26 more pounds on his frame (164 to 190)."

John Michael Gyllenborg, TE, Wyoming - "His 4.60-second 40 and 10-8 broad jump were good indicators of his athleticism. He also helped himself by displaying smooth movements and strong hands during the workout."

Kenyon Sadiq, TE, Oregon - "Sadiq measured 6-3 1/8, which put to rest any concerns that he would not reach the 6-3 mark. His 43 1/2-inch vertical and 11-1 broad jump showed his elite athleticism. Then he posted a 4.39-second 40 at 241 pounds, the fastest time for a combine tight end since at least 2003."

Chase Bisontis, G, Texas A&M - "Bisontis added an excellent workout to his résumé on Sunday. He moved like an H-back during his 5.02-second 40-yard dash after putting up a 32-inch vertical jump to display his explosiveness."

Jager Burton, C, Kentucky - "His 4.94-second 40 (1.76 10-yard split) and 9-3 broad jump showed his athleticism. The four-year starter at guard and center looked naturally fluid/quick in his movement during drills, as well."

Max Iheanachor, T, Arizona State - "He ran a 4.91-second 40 (1.73 10-yard split) and posted a 9-foot-7 broad jump at 321 pounds. Scouts and coaches should have been impressed by his on-field work, too. He was fluid in movement drills and quick in his pass protection kick-slide, with a solid punch."

Logan Jones, C, Iowa - "The 6-2 7/8, 299-pound Jones measured 3/4 of an inch taller and three pounds heavier than (Tyler) Linderbaum did at the 2022 combine. Jones posted excellent results in the vertical (32 inches), 3-cone drill (7.46 seconds) and 40-yard dash (4.90), while Linderbaum didn't run or jump in Indianapolis back in '22. Jones was as solid as you'd expect in drills, moving around cones with no issue and giving full effort on every rep."

Emmanuel Pregnon, G, Oregon - "The 6-4 1/4, 314-pound guard possesses 11-inch hands and 33 5/8-inch arms. He exploded for a 35-inch vertical, which is a better mark than some wide receivers posted this year. His 5.21 40 time might not impress, but he was a smooth mover down the line during his run and in on-field drills."

Coaches, general managers, and prospects take the podium at the 2026 NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis.

Defense

DeMonte Capehart, DT, Clemson - "Capehart has the measurables of a top DT prospect, standing 6-foot-5, 313 pounds with 10 1/4-inch hands and 33 7/8-inch arms. He impressed with a 4.85-second 40-yard dash and 33 1/2-inch vertical. His movement skills were the best among the taller tackles in the workouts."

Gracen Halton, DT, Oklahoma - "Halton is a 3-technique who proved his quickness and agility on Thursday. His length is less than ideal (31 1/8-inch arm) but at 293 pounds he chugged his way to a 4.82-second 40-yard dash and led all defensive tackles with a 36 1/2-inch vertical jump."

Malachi Lawrence, Edge, UCF - "Lawrence stood out in a big way with a 4.52-second 40, 10-foot-10 broad jump and 40-inch vertical at 253 pounds. He used his speed, explosiveness and his 33 5/8-inch arms to accumulate 20 sacks during his four seasons at UCF."

Kaleb Elarms-Orr, LB, TCU - "His 4.47-second 40 at 6-2, 234 pounds turned heads, as did his 40-inch vertical jump. The first-team All-Big 12 Conference 'backer is built like a brick house, but he showed quickness during field drills."

Sonny Styles, LB, Ohio State - "The 6-foot-5, 244-pound 'backer (with 32 7/8-inch arms) had a historic performance, becoming the first player to run a sub-4.5-second 40-yard dash with a vertical leap of 40+ inches and a broad jump of 11+ feet at 230+ pounds since 2003, per NFL Research. The former safety showed nice ball skills and looked fluid for his size in drills, too, which means he did everything he could to elevate his already substantial stock."

Daylen Everette, CB, Georgia - "Everette's 2025 game film was not elite, but he ran a stellar 4.38-second 40-yard dash (1.54 10-yard split) at 6-foot-1 1/4 and 196 pounds. He displayed his explosiveness with a 37 1/2-inch vertical, too."

Chris Johnson, CB, San Diego State - "He checked the necessary boxes with his measurements (6-0 3/8, 193 pounds, 9 7/8-inch hands). He ran a strong 4.40-second 40 and had a 38-inch vertical jump. During on-field drills, his backpedal was smooth and he showed the ability to turn on a dime."

Toriano Pride Jr., CB, Missouri - " His CB-best 4.32 40 was impressive, even though he's not the biggest corner at 5-10 3/8 and 185 pounds. He looked fast during drills, too, though he struggled to catch the ball and change directions early on."

Lorenzo Styles Jr., S, Ohio State - "We all saw Lorenzo's brother, Sonny, dominate Thursday's combine proceedings, so it's no surprise Lorenzo ran a 4.27-second 40, the fastest by a safety since at least 2003, and jumped 39 inches in the vertical. The former Notre Dame receiver flashed the ball skills to grab passes outside his frame and has good size (6-0 1/2, 194) for a defensive back."

Dillon Thieneman, S, Oregon - "He started with a 41-inch vertical and 10-5 broad jump. Then he ran a 4.35 40 (1.52 10-yard split) at 6-0 1/8, 201 pounds. Thieneman changed directions quickly for a player with his build during drills and brought in passes, even when they were thrown outside his frame."

NFL Media analyst Daniel Jeremiah released his second ranking of the top 50 prospects in the 2026 NFL Draft.
