Postgame Cardinals Players

CB Dominique Rogers-Cromartie

Q: How important was it to put that play behind you guys?
A: You know, we all knew as a defense that the play shouldn't have happened.
The ball bounced a long way and the guy came up with it. We came back in here (locker room) and then made our adjustments and we went back out there in the second half playing faster and playing more aggressive.

Q: How big was this win for you guys, coming in here on the Sunday night game?
A: It's a great win. Coming into this stadium known as a hostile environment, we knew that they were hungry and we knew it was going to be hard. So to get a win feels real good.

WR Anquan Boldin

Q: This is a very difficult place to play against a very good football team, and it wasn't a fluke that you guys won this game…
A: Well, we did what we were expected to do. All week in practice we talked about it, and we pulled it out.

Q: What do you have to say about your defense?
A: We feel that we have one of the best defenses in the league, especially when we play together on the same page.

RB Beanie Wells

Q: It really seems like this team is finding its groove defensively and offensively, how is the team meshing right now?
A: It's meshing to a point. We first came out and we shot ourselves in the foot. We could've done a lot better, you know. We were just out there searching and playing around. Then, we got better.

WR Larry Fitzgerald

Q: It really seemed like you guys made the appropriate adjustments and did what you needed to in order to win the game:
A; Yeah, we did. Coach hit it on the head, that first drive coming out of the half moving down the field and getting seven points was big for us. I think that was a pivotal drive and that gave us the momentum moving forward. I was really happy.

Q: 3-0 on the road, that's a pretty good number:
A: We are playing at a very high level. You look at some of the really good teams around this league and you have to play well on the road. We have been able to do that, and we have found a way to go out there and to muster some tough wins. I'm really proud of this group of guys and we persevered today against a really good football team and we will keep trucking ahead.

DT Darnell Dockett

Q: How is the confidence growing? Is it growing as you guys become more successful?
A: I don't know, I think we are just sticking together. We are fighting and we know that we know how to win. We've just got to keep playing together. Our team is special and we have a lot of ways to get better, and the guys are dedicated to working. That alone, and we are also trying our best to stay healthy.

Q: How has the blocking been against you, are you seeing more doubles?
A: Man, you tell me. Go see the replays of the games and you tell me. The put a tight end on me the whole time, but the young guys are stepping up for me and that's what's good. We are right where we want to be. The young guys are going to keep up the momentum, and I'm not going to have to do that much.

CB Antrel Rolle

Q: Tonight, you sealed the deal with that interception, tell me about it?
A: It was a cover two call, you know. There was great communication between myself and the nickel back. I told the nickel back that I know Steve Smith was the guy, and I told him to lean toward number 12. So I did just that and I told Mike that if runs vertical just carry him all the way because I'm going to play outside. So he gave me the out-cut and I was able to jump all over it.

Q: How about this defense as a whole?
A: It just came down to getting out to the balls and making plays. Most of all, I know we're playing for each other out here. Nothing makes me happier than to see Wilson go out and get an interception, and Dominique get an interception. It makes me feel good and I'm sure it makes our coaches feel good. We're going out there and playing for each other, and that's the bottom line.
