Head Coach John Harbaugh
"Ok appreciate you guys coming out and being here. The Rams played a great football game and pretty much dominated the game so I give them all the credit. They played very well, executed on both sides of the ball and were very efficient. They made plays down the field. All those things were really good. We didn't keep up with that. We didn't do those things ourselves so we have a lot of work to do. We'll learn a lot from that game. The plan will be for that to help us become the team that we're going to be going forward. We have to get ready in six days for our next game."
(On QB Jaxson Dart's injury status)
"We'll know more tomorrow. That's in the neighborhood of it, I would say. We'll get an MRI tomorrow and have a really good feel for it and give you more information then."
(On if the team is preparing to be without QB Jaxson Dart next game)
"I'm just not answering it that way because we'll know more when we find out more. I think you make those decisions when you get all the information, not right after the game."
(On feeling relief after seeing Dart walk off after the injury)
"There's no question. The fact that it's not that outcome that you're talking about, the devastating outcome, is really good news."
(On the offense's performance tonight)
"We didn't execute. We didn't complete passes. We didn't run the ball well. We didn't make plays downfield when we had opportunities and we just didn't do it. We have to do that to win."
(On QB Jameis Winston's passing struggles)
"Those are all things that are really better answered after we watch the tape, but also, it's just a matter of execution. Those plays get made or they don't. I thought Jameis came in… It was tough for him. He came in, executed, he operated really well. He was on point with all the things in terms of running the offense and all that. But as a group, as a team, we just didn't do what we needed to do to have a chance to even win the game. We didn't play up to that level across the board. I think that's the best way to describe it. Within that, for me to answer that question, we would have to sit down with the tape and just go play by play because that's where the answer to that question lies. It's not a global answer. It's a specific answer to each play."
(On if Dart wanted to get back in the game)
"I wasn't talking to him about that so I'm not exactly sure what the conversation was on that."
(On Dart's mentality on the sideline)
"I did. Spirits were good."
(On OLB Brian Burns' injury status)
"It's a sprained ankle.
(On whether it's a low ankle sprain or a high ankle sprain)
"It's low, but the fact that it's low makes me happy. I'll agree with you on that."
(On T Andrew Thomas' injury status)
"We'll see about that. Again, none of these injuries are life-threatening."
(On injuries to key players and if that's hard to manage)
"I don't have that measurement. There is no measurement for that. This is what it is. All around the league, everybody deals with it. This is football. This is the NFL. This is what you do. Our task is not to lament it. Our job is for those guys to do everything they can to get back when they're ready. Just like (CB Deontae Banks) 'Tae' will get back as soon as he can. Then go out and play the best football game we can with our football team and endeavor to win the football game. That's what we have to do so that's really the answer to the question. That's what we do. Those guys will be back. They may be back this week. They may be back next week. When they're back, that'll be great."
(On feeling encouraged by the return of WR Malik Nabers)
"I was. That was another good news. It made me really happy to see that. I think it made the fans happy too, right? We're all happy to see that so that was a positive."
(On if there was an injury bothering Nabers during the game)
"No, it's a football game, everybody's trying to make a difference. We didn't, as a team, none of us, coaches, players, we didn't impact the game like we needed to. We did not do anything really much. Not that we didn't do anything, we fought, we competed, we played hard, and you start with that. And it's never as bad as you think. These are all things that you chase. That's a team that executes well. They were off… I know they traveled a long way, but they had some rest and they executed very well, a lot better than they did the week before. So that's our task. Our task is to execute a lot better next week than we did this week. We'll be trying to do that. It's a week-to-week league. So it's too early to start prescribing long-term diagnosis to anything that you see. It's just a matter of, okay, let's get to next week and let's be ready to do what we have got to do to win a football game."
(On what the Rams did that made it tough to guard WR Davante Adams)
"They didn't do anything special. He just made plays."
(On if they should have had CB Greg Newsome II traveling in coverage with WR Davante Adams sooner in the game and what the plan was for covering him)
"We had a lot of ideas, a lot of things we tried to do."
(On what the Rams did to neutralize the Giants' pass rush)
"Yeah, I think he got the ball out just a little bit and they blocked us pretty well. We would like to get some more sacks. I know we all feel that way."
(On if there was a 'lull in the energy' on the sideline after Dart's injury)
"No, no, the lull that you perceive is the fact that plays aren't being made. That's where that feeling comes from. It's not like they got down and that's why we didn't execute. We didn't execute, that's why there wasn't energy. The energy was on the field. But to cheer and get fired up, you have got to do more things. When we made a couple plays there, guys were fired up about it. We just didn't make enough. We didn't stack any plays, really, either. We weren't able to sustain anything, really on either side. We got a few stops, but not enough, and everybody feels the same way. That's the type of thing, momentum. You have got to execute, make plays and get that energy going."
(On why they ran the ball four times and did not pass after recovering a fumble at the 11-yard line)
"Yeah, I mean, that's just play calling in the heat of battle. We'll go back and second guess ourselves on that for sure. Even the specific plays that we ran, we'll second guess ourselves, we already have. That's not good. That's not good at all. We need to have answers. We had answers last week. We didn't have answers this week to get the ball in the end zone. So play calling, game planning, execution, all those things are part of it. And that's why I say, we talked to the guys in here, nobody's saying, 'Hey, you need to do this better.' We all need to do everything better because players making plays is an extension of coaches doing a great job of game planning and game calling and vice versa. It all works hand in hand. And so really, in a team game like this, it's team responsibility. We've got to do better."
(On what gave them the most problems with the Rams' pass rush tonight)
"I thought the games were a problem for us, the interior games were the thing I noticed the most, without watching the tape, I would say that."
(On why during the Rams first touchdown drive LB Zaire Barnes was on the field instead of starting LB Arvell Reese)
"I don't know. I'll have to go back and look at that. I don't recall why that was."

Quarterback Jameis Winston
(On what was going through his head the moment that Dart went down)
"Just praying, lifting him up on the sideline, hoping that everything will be fine and it will."
(On how he feels about the game)
"We lost so we're going to focus on getting better and executing better."
(On how he feels he played)
"I feel like I'm going to focus on executing better and being better for the team."
(On what the Rams were doing to give the Giants' passing game issues)
"They got a hit so they knew a pass was coming. When you know a pass is coming, it's very challenging to throw the ball when you know that a pass is coming."
(On if the Rams did anything he didn't expect in the way they brought pressure)
"No, we have just got to execute better. We are focusing on being in better down the distance. We went in third-and-long a lot so I have to execute better on first and second down."
(On what happened on the interception)
"Third down, we got one-on-one coverage on the outside. They got some pressure up the middle. I gave our guy a chance and the cornerback slipped underneath. He saw the ball coming out of my hand before our receiver saw the ball. He made a play on it."
(On Dart's spirits once he returned to the sideline and whether he got a chance to talk with him)
"Just lifting the guys up. We were in the course of a game so he just made sure he was lifting everyone up. Letting everyone know [that] he was okay."
(On how tough of a game it was considering multiple injuries such as Dart, Burns and Thomas)
"We're a resilient team. We know that those three guys specifically are some of the toughest guys that we have on our team. We're looking forward to seeing them rehab and fight their best to be available, and they will do that. We're just going to keep them lifted up in our prayers. We know that they fight. They fight to the end. That's just a part of this game that happens so they're also going to do the same thing to get back as healthy as they can be for our team."
(On what the Rams did to limit Nabers)
"I believe that we just were in situations where on second-and-long, third-and-long, they're able to play outside leverage and do things that take away our attack on them. Again, when you know that a team is passing the ball, third-and-long is an advantage for the defense. So, as offense, myself, just being more efficient on first and second down will allow all of us to be better."
(On whether he thinks he would have a more favorable outcome if he was able to prepare to play for a week as opposed to taking over during the game)
"Any time your quarterback goes down, obviously that's a gut punch to the team. Just rallying around that and all of us having a fresh week to prepare and go out there and play our best football."
(On how the offense's game plan was affected when he came into the game in place of Dart)
"[Offensive Coordinator] Matt Nagy does an amazing job to create balance of what we do so not a lot of changes. He's just more dynamic with his feet and I think that's what makes him a special player. Our focus is on us being better, cleaning up some things and going out there and executing to the best of our ability."
(On if Nagy changed his play calls once Dart was out)
"No, we've been running the same offense since we got here. Obviously, I do some things really, really well, and we're going to discuss that. We're just going to focus on getting better and executing, being efficient, and putting ourselves in a better position than we did today."
(On HC John Harbaugh calling four runs and multiple field goals in the red zone and whether he thinks he has the capability to change those to passes and whether he would rather see more aggression in that spot)
"Yeah, I think in that position, we want to get points. We knew what our objective was. Our defense did a good job of getting the ball back for us and most importantly, it was getting points. It was the time and place to be aggressive and get out of those things but also defenses bluff. This time they didn't. There are going to be chances, times when we're in that situation, they're going to bluff out and we're going to hit it. We're going to continue to trust what we do. We just have to execute better."
(On what his role is going into tomorrow and this week considering Dart's status)
"My role is to keep him lifted up, keep this team motivated and put this game behind us, find ways to be solution-oriented and have a better week of preparation, a better game of efficiency, and overall get a win."
(On how a team moves on from a disappointing loss to focus on the next game)
"You get ready to play another one. You got another opponent and they don't care."
(On whether playing against Aaron Donald tonight felt like playing against him in previous years)
"He's unbelievable in terms of his talent. All he did is just sit back... It's time to get into the Hall of Fame. He's that type of player and we knew that so we always respect him.
(On whether anything changes for him this week considering the probability that he will start in Week 3)
"Pressure is for the unprepared. You keep preparing. You be ready. So, whatever happens, happens."
