QB Eli Manning

**Q. Dallas and Giants is always a big deal, but now you are going down there, new stadium. Is that added incentive or does that not affect you guys?

**

A. I don't think it affects us, but we know it's a new stadium, should be a loud crowd, a lot of people. It should be an exciting game. It is always a big battle, always a tough challenge playing versus Dallas and at Dallas. We are excited about our opportunities though.

Q. What do you have to do this week better than you did last week?

A. To just finish drives. We did a lot of really good things last week. It would be good if we can control the ball like we did last week, but we've got to get touchdowns. Their offense is explosive and they score points, so we know we've got to try to keep the ball away from them but also get in the end zone.

Q. Is it important to get on the board first, get a lead first?

A. You always like to get a lead and have that, but if you don't, it's not the end of the world. We've just got to stay within our offense. We can't start forcing things, we have to be able to run the ball, and play action if you're passing every down. Their defensive ends are talented and they get an advantage, so we have to stay within ourselves and just try to play good football.

Q. DeMarcus Ware was in the backfield a lot in that December meeting. How important is it to keep that guy away from you?

A. Yeah, he is a very talented player and kind of what I said, we have to be able to run the ball to slow them down on the pass rush. Get the ball out quickly and timely, guys have to get open. But we've got to know where he is.

Q. What is it like to go on the road this early just to find out where you stand?A. Going on the road is always something you have to prepare for. In the past we have been pretty good on the road. We know what we've got ahead of us. A tough game, a tough team. We just have to go out there and play our game.

Q. Playing in a stadium for the first time, are there challenges in terms of getting used to the depth perception, how the field plays, the crowd, etc?A. No, I don't think so. I think for a quarterback, you go in, find where the play clock is, little things like that. But besides that, we will go out there and warm up and get a good feel. Once the game starts, you've just got to play your game.

Q. Is this exciting to be in a new stadium, first time coming in there?

A. Yeah, I think so. They wanted to schedule an exciting game, an important game, to open up their new stadium. Giants-Cowboys is always a great match. It should draw a big crowd, they are saying 100,000-plus. It should be fun to play in front of that many people. Obviously it is going to be loud and we've got to accommodate that. I think everybody is looking forward to this great opportunity.
