Q: How was practice for you?**
A: I thought it was good. It was a good experience, good tempo. A lot of good guys are here helping me out showing my way around, so I'm enjoying myself.
Q: What did you know about the offense before you came here?
A: Nothing. Nothing at all, but the coaches have been working close with me and just taking it all in and doing pretty good with it.
Q: Did you know any of the guys going in?
A: I got an old teammate, Justin Tryon, and a couple of friends. Not too many.
Q: What do you think you bring to this offense?
A: Just a presence. Just the running game inside, outside, pass protection. Just trying to help the team anyway I can.
Q: Shanahan said he was surprised to see that you were available for as long as you were. Did you hear that?A: Yeah, I heard about it from friends and family. But just had to be patient with it at home and stay focused.
Q: The Redskins offense has changed a little bit since you were there. Are you going to give these guys some pointers on it?
A: No. We all watch film. We all see what they can do. I try to help them out as much as I can with individual players. They can take it for what it is and hopefully it helps them.
Q: How much will you love going up against the Redskins on Monday night?
A: It will be pretty good. It will be awesome first game back. That being my former team, I'm excited to play against some of my old buddies. But it's definitely a game and we've got to go out there and play our hardest.
Q: Is it a little nerve racking going into a new situation knowing you can get called and not know the system as much as you like?
A: That's what we study for. That's what we're here for. It's our jobs. It's more exciting than nerve racking, but definitely got to go out there and take advantage.
