Safety Rolle ready for Patriots attack

Where 'Trel at?

He's at the Super Bowl, again.

Safety Antrel Rolle, who played in the big game with the Arizona Cardinals a year after the Giants last won, gets another crack at it in Indianapolis. He'll have to prepare for a Patriots scheme that hands off to tight ends and throws wide receivers in the defensive backfield.
Rolle, however, is ready for all the wrinkles. Just check out his T-shirt.

"I cover different people all the time," Rolle said on Monday. "The little slogan on my shirt is 'Where 'Trel at?' You never know where I'm going to be. I never know where I'm going to be.

Whatever is called, I just go and line up and take my responsibilities."

As for exorcising some Super Bowl demons, Rolle can't worry about that.

"I was a Cardinal then; I'm a Giant now," said Rolle, whose Arizona team lost to Pittsburgh on a last-second touchdown. "I think we're in a better situation. We're not going to be denied. We're not going to be denied. We've come too far, and this road has been way too tough for us to come up short. We will do whatever it takes."

At times this season, that road has gone through Rolle.

The two-time Pro Bowler (2009 and '10) provided a strong voice in the locker room when the Giants' 6-2 start felt as distant as a prior season.

But there was one thing that kept this team on track to Indianapolis.

"Most of all, we've never pointed a finger," he said. "No matter how good we played at times and no matter how bad we played at times, we never pointed a finger. We kind of accepted the responsibility as a team. We all made a pact. It was going to start in practice. We're going to go out there and practice 100 percent if we can, make sure we have all guys on deck. That's when you win your game. You win your game throughout the week. On Sunday, you just go out there and you put a stamp on it."

Sounds like a good slogan for another shirt.
