As a Grad Student in 2012:
Saw action and started in all 12 games as No. 1 running back ... Rushed for 715 yards on 198 carries with five touchdowns averaging 59.6 yards per game ... Led the team in total points with 30 ... Also made 13 catches for 63 yards ... Earned UMass Athlete of the Week and CFPA's National Running Back of the Week honorable mention with 30 carries for 188 yards and two touchdowns at Miami (9/22), also made ESPN Sport Center's No. 5 Play of the Day with his nine-yard touchdown run ... Had 18 carries at Michigan (9/15) for 81 yards.
Before UMass: Joined UMass during the 2012 summer as a graduate student after receiving his degree at Michigan ... Played for the Wolverines from 2008-11 taking a redshirt season in 2008 ... Is eligible to play at UMass without sitting out per NCAA rules ... Played in 15 games during his career at Michigan where he rushed for 169 yards on 19 carries (8.9 yards per rush) and scored two touchdowns ... In 2011 as a redshirt junior, played on special teams ... In 2010 as a redshirt sophomore, had six carries for 56 yards against Bowling Green ... As a redshirt freshman in 2009, had a career-best 82 yards on 11 carries and two touchdowns against Delaware State ... A four-star prospect at Avon Old Farms, he rushed for 2,400 yards in three prep seasons ... He rushed for 1,000 yards with 16 touchdowns as a junior but missed the bulk of his senior season due to an injury.
