The New York Giants Present Sleep Out: Women Unite Hosted by: Beth Daboll, Wife of NY Giants Head Coach, & Marie Schoen, Wife of NY Giants General Manager
Give up your bed for one night to ensure that youth facing homelessness can sleep safely at Covenant House New Jersey (CHNJ). At CHNJ, young people are welcomed with love and respect. They can access safe shelter, nourishing food, clean clothing, and essential services like job training, education, healthcare, mental health counseling, and legal aid — all the tools they need to build futures free from homelessness.
Sleep Out is your chance to shine a light on the youth homelessness crisis and raise critical funds that help CHNJ provide young people with 24/7 support. The awareness and funds you raise translate to things like new sheets, computers, meals, and best-in-class care for youth overcoming homelessness. The experience you have comes with opportunities to learn from experts, meaningfully advocate for an end to youth homelessness, amplify stories from people with lived experiences being unstably housed, and be part of a unique community.
On Thursday, May 4th, please join us for our Sleep Out: Women Unite Edition! Women from all across our state will send a clear message to youth overcoming homelessness and human trafficking survivors that they are not alone. This fundraising event is crucial to raise a substantial amount of the funding we use to provide safe housing, food, clothing, and other critical resources for our young people.
This year's Sleep Out experience will give you the option to sleep out at the MetLife Stadium or sleep out at a location of your choosing. Remote Sleepers will be invited to participate in the live, interactive online program with Covenant House New Jersey alumni, front-line staff, and fellow Sleepers from across the state. At night, our Sleepers will give up their beds and Sleep Out at MetLife Stadium or in their own backyards, garages, porches, terraces, and floors across New Jersey.
Join us and invite the women in your circle of love and influence including your daughters, nieces, coworkers, and friends to participate in Sleep Out: Women Unite. Each participant is required to fundraise. The suggested fundraising goal is $300 for students 12-21 and $2,000 for women.
