Giants Rack Up Huge Score in Loss to Eagles

Five touchdowns raise $1,2500.00 for the New Jersey YMCA State Alliance

The New York Giants moved the ball up and down the field at will this past Sunday night at Giants Stadium, but ultimately lost to the Eagles 45-38 in the highest scoring game in the history of this storied rivalry.

Eli Manning overcame several drops by Giants' receivers to throw for a whopping 391 yards and three touchdowns – posting a solid QB rating of 130.5.  Manning threw touchdown passes to Hakeem Nicks, Domenik Hixon and Kevin Boss.  Additionally, running backs Brandon Jacobs and Ahmad Bradshaw each crossed the goal line for the Giants.

Unfortunately as well as the Giants offense played, the defense and special teams played equally as poor allowing big plays that ultimately cost the Giants a chance for the victory.

The Giants are eighth in the league in scoring, averaging 26.2 points per game and are fifth in the NFL in total yards gained on offense.

Through 14 weeks of the NFL season, the Touchdowns for Families program has raised $9,500.00 for the New Jersey YMCA State Alliance and the Healthy U program
