Travel Log: Giants head to Atlanta

For every road game this season, Giants.com will catch up with a member of the team for a travel Q&A. This week, we got to catch up with cornerback Grant Haley:

What are your must-haves in your carry-on?

Grant Haley: Just toiletries essentially, toothbrush, that's about it honestly. Change of underwear and socks, that's about it. Clothes you can find.

What do you like to do on the plane?

Grant Haley: I'm not a huge flyer, but I do it so I just like to fall asleep honestly. Listen to music, if there's TV watch a movie.

When you're on the plane, do you like to sit with someone or do you prefer to sit alone?

Grant Haley: Id rather sit alone, but it doesn't matter to me honestly. Just not the middle seat.

What's the longest flight you've ever been on?

Grant Haley: One to Ireland probably. What is that like six, seven hours?

Since this is your first road game, do you know who you're going to room with?

Grant Haley: No I have no idea. I have no idea who I'm rooming with, no idea of the hotel. I'm just along for the ride right now trying to figure out everything out as I go.

When you go on the road, like back when you were in college and a little bit in the preseason, what is your routine when you get to the hotel?

Grant Haley: College I would go to my room. We had some time, probably like an hour or so just chill and go to meetings, but I guess now we have some time to go out or go eat for dinner so this weekend I'm just going to go back to my house in Atlanta and say hello to my mom and people so that's my plan.

You're from Atlanta, this your first road trip with the Giants. How exciting is that to go back home and play in front of your friends and family?

Grant Haley: Yeah it's definitely exciting. Haven't seen some of my family in a while so it's good to go back and enjoy that. I'm just blessed to be in the position that I am in and excited for the opportunity.
