Travel Log: Giants head to Washington

12-7-travel

For every road game this season, Giants.com will catch up with a member of the team for a travel Q&A. This week, we got to catch up with Wide Receiver Bennie Fowler:

What are your must haves in your carry-on's?

Bennie Fowler: I got to have my own personal iPad. I watch Entourage. I love that show so I re-watch that show all the time. Got to have my headphones, that's a must. Those are two musts.

What do you like to do on the plane?

Bennie Fowler: Relax, sleep – usually Tony Lippett sits next to me since I've been here. Crack jokes because we went to Michigan State together. I like to just relax and take my mind off the game a little bit because games getting ready to come up.

Do you like sitting next to Tony on the plane or would you rather sit alone?

Bennie Fowler: I like sitting next to people on the plane. I enjoy conversations so I don't mind it at all.

What's the longest flight you've ever been on?

Bennie Fowler: I went to Greece this summer so that was about a nine-hour flight.

Do you have a roommate at the hotel?

Bennie Fowler: No, no roommate.

When you get to the hotel, what's your typical routine?

Bennie Fowler: Right when I get to the hotel, unpack. I like to have everything laid out, I like everything organized and then usually go eat at a restaurant with the receivers.

I'm sure you played in Washington before while you were in Denver, but now as a member of the Giants and the Redskins being a divisional rival, how different is this game to you?

Bennie Fowler: Division games mean everything and you see how the rivalry is just because you're in the division. You see these guys twice a year so when I played there last year with the Broncos it didn't really feel like that, but playing Washington this year you can just feel the tension and the urgency when you're playing a divisional opponent.
