One more will put him over the top.
Odell Beckham Jr. added an exclamation point to his breakout campaign yesterday with a franchise rookie record 185 receiving yards in the Giants' season-ending loss to the Philadelphia Eagles. For his performance, Beckham once again is nominated for the Pepsi Rookie of the Week Award and has a chance to become the only four-time winner this season.
Last week Beckham (who won the award in Weeks 12, 15 and 16) tied Bills wide receiver Sammy Watkins (the winner in Weeks 2, 7 and 8) with his third weekly honor. Now Beckham could be on his way to an AP Offensive Player of the Year Award, which will be presented at the Fourth Annual NFL Honors awards show on Jan. 31, the night before Super Bowl XLIX.
In the meantime, fans can vote for Beckham, who tied Pro Football Hall of Famer Michael Irvin's NFL record of nine consecutive games of at least 90 receiving yards, for the Week 17 award through Friday at 3 p.m. ET. The winner will be announced later that day on NFL Total Access on NFL Network and on NFL.com.
