Giants News | New York Giants –

WR Mario Manningham

Q: How are you feeling?

A: I am going to be good to go on Monday. My knee is a little sore.

Q: So is everything on track?

A: Yes, I am good. My knee has just been a little sore the last couple weeks but I am going to be good to go.

Q: How much does missing a practice make you rusty on game day?

A: I don't believe in it. I have been here for four years with the same quarterback. I have missed one game earlier in the season but I don't think it makes a difference. We have more practices than games year-round.

Q: Do you think about your knee when you are running?

A: No, the adrenaline is running too much.

Q: Did you tweak it this morning?

A: No, I just had to go in and do something.

* *

Q: Did you have to see the doctors?

A: Yes.

* *

Q: Is that normal process?

A: When your knee has been hurting for as long as mine has and swelling and going down.

Q: Do you see a lot of big play possibilities against New Orleans?

A: Yes, we just have to capitalize on them when they come.

* *

Q: Are they more down the sidelines or down the middle of the field?

A: Both the middle and on the outside perimeter.

* *

Q: Are you playing through pain on game days?

A: No, I am going to be good for Monday. I will be out there.

* *

Q: Are you glad to have that extra day?

A: Yes, but like I said, when your adrenaline is pumping, it doesn't really matter. You don't feel anything out there.

Q: Are you confident that you will be playing Monday?

A: Yes, I am. I will be out there.
