Over the offseason, Justin Tuck and Darnay Holmes visited Cheshire Correctional Institution, a Level 4 high security facility located just north of New Haven, Connecticut. In conjunction with the Vera Institute of Justice, MILPA Collective and their Restoring Promise initiative, they went to witness the T.R.U.E. Unit, a groundbreaking approach that reimagines incarceration for men aged 18-25. The name is an acronym for Truthfulness, Respectfulness, Understanding, and Elevating.
