The NFC East matchup will be the first time the Giants and Cowboys face off in Week 1 since 2023.

Prior to that, the two division foes went through a streak of opening the season against each other six times in an eight-year span (2012, 2013, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2019).

The Giants and Cowboys split their two matchups last season, with Dallas picking up a 40-37 overtime victory in the Week 2 contest at AT&T Stadium. They met again in the season finale at MetLife Stadium, where Jaxson Dart accounted for 262 total yards (230 passing, 32 rushing) and two passing touchdowns on the way to a 34-17 victory.

The rest of the Giants' 2026 schedule is set to be released Thursday, May 14 (7:30 p.m. ET) on the Giants' website, app, and social media channels.
