Giants Now: Who rose in Daniel Jeremiah's latest top 50 prospect rankings?

DRAFT-GN

Who rose in Daniel Jeremiah's latest top 50 prospect rankings?

With the NFL Scouting Combine now in the rearview mirror, several prospects boosted their draft status with strong performances in Indianapolis.

NFL Network analyst Daniel Jeremiah recently released the third edition of his top 50 draft prospect rankings, in which numerous guys jumped up the list.

Here are the biggest risers in Jeremiah's latest top 50 prospect rankings.

Ricky Pearsall, WR, Florida - Moved up to No. 39 (+9)

"Pearsall is a loose, smooth wideout with outstanding hands and toughness."

Adonai Mitchell, WR, Texas - Moved up to No. 25 (+8)

"Mitchell has outstanding size, toughness and polish for the position... Overall, though, Mitchell is an ideal X receiver. He can make plays when covered, and he's a real weapon in the red zone."

Ladd McConkey, WR, Georgia - Moved up to No. 34 (+8)

"McConkey is a slightly undersized receiver with excellent speed, quickness and polish... Overall, McConkey isn't quite as physical as former Seahawks receiver Doug Baldwin, but I see a lot of similarities in their route running and instincts. I could see McConkey having a similar career."

Braden Fiske, DT, Florida State - Moved up to No. 37 (+8)

"Fiske is an explosive, versatile defensive lineman... Overall, Fiske is a competitive, athletic and impactful defensive lineman capable of starting right away."

Graham Barton, IOL, Duke - Moved up to No. 27 (+7)

"Barton started at left tackle during his final three seasons at Duke. Prior to that, he started five games at center, and that's where I see him playing at the next level... Overall, I see Barton as an athletic center with the ability to survive at tackle if needed.

Payton Wilson, LB, N.C. State - Moved up to No. 40 (+7)

"Wilson is a height/weight/speed linebacker with excellent instincts and playmaking ability."

J.J. McCarthy, QB, Michigan - Moved up to No. 21 (+6)

"McCarthy is a lean, athletic quarterback with a live/loose arm... Overall, other quarterbacks in this class have more volume in the passing game, but it's hard to argue with McCarthy's results. I see some similarities to Alex Smith coming out of college."

Troy Fautanu, OT, Washington - Moved up to No. 12 (+5)

"Fautanu is an explosive left tackle prospect for the Huskies... Overall, I view Fautanu as a starting tackle with positional flexibility to play all five O-line spots if needed."

Michael Penix Jr., QB, Washington - Moved up to No. 33 (+5)

"Penix has exceptional arm strength and toughness... Overall, durability is a legitimate concern, but I believe in his combination of vision, accuracy and arm strength."

NFL Media analyst Daniel Jeremiah released his updated ranking of the top 50 prospects in the 2024 NFL Draft.
