Dexter Lawrence named to Pro Football Focus Team of the Week
Dexter Lawrence continued his dominant 2023 campaign on Monday night against the Packers.
The fifth-year defensive lineman picked up a half-sack along with three tackles, while Pro Football Focus had him down for six total pressures on just 20 pass rush snaps (40 percent pass rush win rate).
Lawrence's strong performance earned him a spot on the PFF Team of the Week.
"Yeah, they're monsters," Saquon Barkley said about Lawrence and Kayvon Thibodeaux after the game. "Azeez (Ojulari) got back in flow getting him a sack too. Make big plays, they've been making big plays all year long..."
The 26-year-old is now up to 4.5 sacks on the season to go with 59 total pressures, including 13 in his last two games. During his All-Pro season in 2022, Lawrence finished with 63 total pressures in 16 games.
Lawrence's pressures and 21.2 percent pass rush win rate both lead the team.
Heading into Week 15, Lawrence is not only PFF's highest-ranked interior defensive lineman, but he is also the highest-ranked defender overall by the analytics site.
In fact, the only player on either side of the ball ranked higher than Lawrence by PFF is Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill, who leads the NFL with 1,542 receiving yards and 12 receiving touchdowns.
