Eli Manning has fun with Tom Brady's undefeated comment
Eli Manning is undefeated on Twitter, just like Tom Brady was heading into Super Bowl XLII.
The two quarterbacks have been linked ever since the Giants handed Brady his first Super Bowl loss on February 3, 2008. Not only was it Brady's first time being defeated in a Super Bowl, but it also prevented the Patriots from entering the record books by going 19-0 for the first time in NFL history.
During the NFL's Draft-a-Thon this past weekend, Brady, now with the Buccaneers, was asked if he would trade two of his seven Super Bowl rings to have completed the perfect season.
"I would, let's be real," Brady said.
The 2007 Patriots team was one of the greatest teams ever, averaging a whopping 36.8 points per game as Brady took home league MVP honors. However, following one of the most memorable moments in Super Bowl history (a certain catch made on one player's helmet), the Giants pulled off an epic upset to win the franchise's third Super Bowl Championship as Manning was named the game's MVP.
After seeing Brady's comment about the undefeated season on social media, Manning couldn't help but poke a little fun at the seven-time champion.
