Senior Bowl releases new uniforms
The 2020 Senior Bowl is set for next week. Ahead of the big week of festivities, Jim Nagy, executive director of the Senior Bowl and a former 18-year NFL scout, released new uniforms that players will be wearing in this year's collegiate all-star game following the game's new partnership with Nike.
While the majority of the roster has been set for several days, additional players continue to find their way into the Senior Bowl lineup.
East-West Shrine Bowl kicks off Saturday
Before the Senior Bowl kicks off, the East-West Shrine Bowl will take place this weekend, serving as the first of the all-star games for collegiate seniors with dreams of playing in the NFL. Over 120 collegiate seniors will participate in this weekend's game, which will serve as yet another chance for these players to showcase their skills in front of NFL coaches and scouts.
A familiar face will serve as one of the NFL Legend Mentors for the East Team, as the Giants all-time leading receiver Amani Toomer is set to take part in the event. Toomer will be joined on the East Team by former Eagles and Seahawks cornerback Bobby Taylor. The mentors for the West Team are former Patriots linebacker Willie McGinest and former Chiefs guard Will Shields.
