Giants' close contacts under COVID-19 protocol return to team; meetings to be held remotely

HELMET

The Giants announced that all of their close contacts under COVID-19 protocols who remained home yesterday will be back with the team today.

The team will hold its meetings remotely and will practice at MetLife Stadium due to wet grounds at the Quest Diagnostics Training Center.

Yesterday, the Giants placed Will Hernandez on the Reserve/COVID-19 list. In addition, the team instructed eight players and two coaches to remain home.

"There's always some kind of adversity we're going to have to deal with," coach Joe Judge said Thursday. "To us, this is just a sudden change. We just keep on moving forward. We emphasize working on what we can really accomplish as a team. We get everyone ready who may be part of the game plan."

The Giants are set to host the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Monday Night Football at MetLife Stadium.

Judge was asked if he had concerns about the game being played. He replied, "We have none right now. We're expecting to play Monday night, and that's our mindset."
