The 6-foot-4, 220-pound receiver spent the last two seasons with the Pittsburgh Steelers and played primarily on special teams. Boykin has played in 33 games since the start of the 2022 campaign and registered 15 special teams tackles (13 solo) to go with his five receptions for 28 yards for the Steelers.

Prior to joining the NFL, Boykin played in 26 games across three seasons at Notre Dame. He enjoyed his strongest season as a senior in 2018, when he led the Fighting Irish with 59 receptions for 872 yards and eight touchdowns. Boykin had at least one touchdown catch in six straight games that season, the program's longest touchdown streak by a wide receiver since Will Fuller in 2014.
