The 6-foot, 230-pound Houston product has played in 85 games and made 13 starts for the Browns (2023), Bears (2022), and Colts (2018-21), who originally selected him in the seventh round of the 2018 NFL Draft. His career number include 98 total tackles, eight tackles for loss, two forced fumbles, and a fumble recovery. Adams has also appeared in four postseason games, including one last season in Cleveland.

In 2023, Adams suited up for all 17 games and led the Browns with 435 plays on special teams, where he forced a fumble on a Jets kickoff return during a Week 17 victory.

Prior to the NFL, Adams played in 48 games across four seasons as a linebacker at the University of Houston and was named to the American Athletic Conference All-Academic Team.
