Christian McCaffrey, RB, Stanford

Rob Rang of CBSSports.com projected McCaffrey, a 6-foot, 197-pound former Heisman Trophy finalist. As a sophomore in 2015, he set the NCAA single-season record for all-purpose yards (3,864) and was named the Associated Press and Pac-12 Player of the Year.

Rang: "McCaffrey isn't a bruiser but his instincts, shiftiness and soft hands out of the backfield could make him an intriguing weapon for Big Blue."

VS.

O.J. Howard, OT, Alabama

NFL.com's Bucky Brooks liked Howard, one of the stars at last month's Senior Bowl. Coming in at 6-foot-6 and 249 pounds, Howard was the Offensive MVP of the 2016 College Football Playoff National Championship after recording 208 yards and two touchdowns on five catches.

Brooks: "After emerging as the best overall tight end at the Senior Bowl, Howard elevated his stock. The Giants could use another weapon in the passing game to alleviate pressure on Odell Beckham, Jr. on the outside."
