David Diehl, who had switched from right tackle to left guard on Tuesday while wearing a cast on his right hand, will have to undergo surgery this afternoon to repair his thumb. The approximate timeframe for recovery has been set at six weeks, leaving Tom Coughlin and his coaching staff with some decisions moving forward.
