Until then, there's plenty to digest from the start of the preseason. Big Blue fell to the Steelers at home last Friday night, 20-12. Elsewhere around the division, the Cowboys dropped to 0-2 in the preseason after Saturday's loss to the Rams. Meanwhile, the Redskins and Eagles both lost their preseason openers and will be back in action again this week.

Giants.com takes a look at the latest power rankings coming in from outlets across the country:

NYG:11
Movement:Down 2
NFC East:No. 6 Cowboys, No. 11 Giants, No. 15 Eagles, No. 20 Redskins
NFL Top 5:Patriots, Falcons, Seahawks, Steelers, Packers
Comments: "The additions of Brandon Marshall and Evan Engram have Giants fans wondering if the team will have a top-ranked offense this season. Perhaps they will, but keep this in mind: The Giants failed to score 30 points in a game last season. The preseason could indicate how well the offense will click." - ESPN

NYG:6
Movement:Up 1
NFC East:No. 6 Giants, No. 8 Cowboys, No. 16 Redskins, No. 20 Eagles
NFL Top 5:Patriots, Falcons, Packers, Raiders, Steelers
Comments:"Yes. Giants over Cowboys. For now. The right side of the offensive line is a concern, as is the running game. Well, the Seahawks don't prioritize their offensive line. The Cowboys' defense -- namely those who aren't suspended or in trouble with the law -- can't compete with either team. All three are more set at quarterback than the Chiefs. Therein lies the explanation for New York at sixth. The air game could be an air raid, if Eli Manning plays like he did in 2014 and '15, rather than last year's so-so campaign. Weapons? Many." – Elliot Harrison

NYG:10
Movement:N/A
NFC East:No. 6 Cowboys, No. 10 Giants, No. 19 Redskins, No. 22 Eagles
NFL Top 5:Patriots, Falcons, Steelers, Packers, Seahawks
Comments: "Will Ben McAdoo's offense take hold this year? Deficiencies at running back and along the offensive line could derail the attack again, but Eli Manning's receiving corps might afford him ample leeway." – USA TODAY

NYG:9
Movement:Down 2
NFC East:No. 3 Cowboys, No. 9 Giants, No. 23 Eagles, No. 27 Redskins
NFL Top 5:Patriots, Seahawks, Cowboys, Steelers, Raiders
Comments: "Defense has become their backbone again, stacked from the front to the secondary. But they will be stuck in near-NFC content if Eli Manning can't find his passing mojo, even with Brandon Marshall and Evan Engram in the mix." – Vinnie Iyer
