Which players stood out at practice? (7/29)

TE Larry Donnell
The Giants are looking for a tight end to emerge this summer, and Larry Donnell is starting to stack up plays in his favor. Yesterday he made our Giants.com top plays with an impressive catch as he somersaulted to the ground. He followed that up Tuesday with another highlight. On the first drive of practice, Eli Manning threw a fade pass to Donnell in the back corner of the end zone, and the tight end leapt up to make the grab as he crashed to the ground for a touchdown. His day didn't end there, either. Later during 7-on-7 drills, Donnell caught two passes, one on each side of the field.** >> Photos: TE Larry Donnell in action

CB Trumaine McBride**

The Giants' secondary is set on making some noise this season, and they've started by doing so in training camp. Veteran cornerback Trumaine McBride, who is entering his second season with the Giants, put one on the board today for the defense late in team drills. He jumped in front of a Curtis Painter pass and caught it in stride for what would have been a pick-six.

RB Peyton Hillis
One of the tasks in the Giants' new system under offensive coordinator Ben McAdoo is finding the right mix in the backfield. Running back Peyton Hillis showed Tuesday what he brings to the table. At 6-2 and 250 pounds, the veteran Hillis has the size to block as well as the hands to catch passes. He was featured today on a few pitches and showed his receiving skills when he caught a 20-yard pass from Eli Manning on the sideline.>> CLICK HERE: What is RB Depth Chart?
