Played four seasons at the University of Pennsylvania (2008-11), starting in all 30 games in his final three seasons…As a junior and senior, received Penn's Bednarik Award, given to the most outstanding offensive and defensive lineman.
As a senior in 2011, started all 10 games and earned unanimous All-Ivy Leaue honors.
As a junior, started all 10 games and was named first-team All-Ivy recognition…Helped Penn lead the Ivy League in rushing yards (6th in the nation), scoring offense and total offense.
As a sophomore, started in all 10 games and was part of an offensive line that allowed the fewest sacks in the Ivy League.

OFF-THE-FIELD ACTIVITY

Represented the Fisher Center for Alzheimer's Research Foundation during Week 13 of the NFL season for My Cause My Cleats… Attended the Tom Coughlin Jay Fund Champions for Children Gala to assist families experiencing cancer and celebrate Giants Carolyn Tisch Blodgett for her efforts to support families experiencing cancer… After the team practice in Germany prior to the Sunday game, met with the 120 students that participated in the NFL Flag clinic… Met with members from the Wounded Warriors Project during their visit to the Quest Diagnostics Training Center to watch practice and enjoy a day with the Giants.

Graduated from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Science in Economics…Attended Chaminade High School in Mineola, NY and was a team captain as a senior…Earned New York All-State and All-Catholic High School Football League honors and was a Daily News All-Star, All-city and All-Suburban…Selected to play in the 2008 Empire State Outback Bowl.
